What a wonderful Sunday. It was a trip to Kansas City, but for pure pleasure, without seeing any doctors. Yeah! First the boys had to go and check out their "baseball" skills in the Kid Area.
Ryan did the batting cage
and pitched.
Tyler did the big batting cage like Ryan and then hit in the "Little K". (below)
We saw a wonderful Royals game and they even WON! Our friends, the Wiebe's and their 4 children went with us. This is what all 6 of the "kids" looked like in the row.
Of course, we left our youngest 2 at home. This was much needed time with Ryan and Tyler and no younger brothers. After the game, there was a "Mercy Me" concert at the stadium.
"Mercy Me"It was an awesome concert and very uplifting! We left at 7 am this morning and arrived home around 9 pm. We had an excellent day!
