Ryan's 9th Birthday

It is hard to believe that it was 9 years ago that Ryan was born. Wow, how time flies and how fast they grow up. Since it rained this weekend, we actually had an opportunity (even in the middle of harvest) to celebrate his birthday. Friday evening we went to Wichita and ate out at his choice restaurant ......... Ryan's Steak and Buffet ----- huh, do you think he likes that place due to the name??? We then went and saw the movie Wall-E at the Warren. Of course, an ice cream stop was a must after that so we went to Freddy's. On Sunday we had a Huxman reunion at lunch, and then had a small family celebration in the evening for homemade ice cream and cake. The cake was of course made by Uncle Kent --- what talent he has. Ryan LOVED IT!!! Now our "little boy" is 9 and not quite so little anymore. Tuesday he's having a "Harvest Birthday Party" with his kid friends. I'll have to post the highlights of that later in the week.
