At the end of June I was fortunate to travel to Lincoln, Nebraska to see Beth Moore in person.  What an inspiring message she gave about "Knowing Better".  She discussed how . . . Better can be Bitter or . . . Better can be Better.  She is such an amazing speaker and the praise and worship time before each session was a worshipful experience.  I will definitely keep a watch on when she'll be close again because I'd love to go!

Every summer we are invited by relatives of Chris' to visit them at the Sand Pit by Burrton.  The kids LOVE to go and swim, swing from the rope, and even boat a little ---- this year they had a pull behind tube that Ryan and Tyler enjoyed!  We always grill burgers and hot dogs and then have homemade ice cream.  But, the best part is just relaxing and socializing!  This is a "bucket list" event each summer for the kids:)

The favorite part for the kids is the rope swing.
