What a Basketball Saturday

Tyler's recreation team ended the season today 6-1. They did a great job and Tyler hit a shot at the buzzer today for a 26-19 victory. Very proud of all 8 of the 3rd grade boys. Here's the group with their coaches. They plan to play in a 3rd grade MAYB tournament in Newton February 20 and 21.


Ryan's 5th grade recreation team finished the year 6-0, beating the other undefeated team from Halstead today 24-23. The 10 boys had a great season.

Wrapping up our "basketball" day was winning the Championship game at the Lindsborg MAYB tournament. They played 2 games this morning beating the Southeast Trojans 40-23 and then Hesston 50-29, with Ryan having his high game of10 points. Then we went back to Moundridge for the recreation game. On to Lindsborg in the evening to play Hutch in semi-finals (who we lost to 2 weeks ago on a last second shot) and winning 24-13, and then beating Abilene 42-26 for 1st place. These boys have worked very hard and just continue improving. Once again, very proud of each and every one of them.
