Started on July 2 with a follow-up appointment for Grant in Kansas City for his hand. They remade his splint that he is to wear at night to stretch his fingers. Now it is working much better.

He's such a good sleeper. Loves those fingers for comfort:)
After the appointment we ran to Legends mall for a little bit and ate at Famous Dave's --- yum! Then we met up with my mom and dad, my brothers (Kent and Gregg), and Andrew (they brought him up because we didn't think he'd do well at the doctor for a couple hours) and went to the Royals vs. White Sox game.

Ryan got a ball thrown to him by a Royals player during the batting practice. He was VERY excited. He's showing it off here with Tyler and Uncle Gregg.

Andrew's favorite part was the carousel. He rode it 3 times at least. This time Dad got to enjoy it with him:)

Grant's favorite part - eating:)

Finally, a family "kid" picture. It's always so difficult to get all of them to look at the camera at the same time:)
On the 3rd, we spent the evening with the Huxman family at Uncle Ron's house. Andrew enjoyed time with his Cousin Sloan. They always have a great time together:)

We spent an hour or so at the pool on July 4th and then ate in Newton with Uncle Gregg. Nothing too special because we'd had TOO many late nights during the week. We watched some fireworks from the deck, but that was it. The older boys and I played some cards and then it was off to bed because Sunday meant . . . Camp Mennoscah for Ryan. He was there from Sunday to Thursday morning and was fortunate enough to be in the same cabin as his buddies, Ethan and Dylan. They had a great week and the counselor even survived the 3 of them together (as parents we prayed hard for the counselor:)

On Monday evening we met Uncle Brian, Aunt Cori, and cousins Luke and Ian at the park in Newton. Then of course, ran to the kids' favorite restaurant, McDonalds, for supper. The cousins had a great time together.

Luke, Tyler, and Andrew (getting them to stop long enough for a picture was a task also)

Cousin Luke and Andrew (check it out --- they are "sharing" shoes)

Grant's first time in a swing --- HE LOVED IT!

sounds like you had a blast! I hope you had time to relax between taking photos of the kids. :)
Glad to see some new pics of the kiddos! I'm fairly new at this whole blogging thing but learning quickly. Love your page.
